The legendary 80’s rock band Tesla recently electrified the crowd at Foxwoods Casino’s Premier Theater with their “Keepin’ It Real” tour, selling out the venue in spectacular fashion. The atmosphere was charged from the start, with fans eagerly filling the theater in anticipation, even before the opener, Sebastian Bach, took the stage.

Bach, known for his time with Skid Row, did not disappoint, delivering a powerful set of 12 songs, a mix of Skid Row classics and his solo material. The highlight was his kickoff song, “What Do I Got to Lose?” from his latest album, which introduced his new material to longtime fans. Despite some technical snags with the sound, Bach’s performance was stellar, marked by soaring vocals and enthusiastic crowd interactions.

Following an impressive opening act, Tesla took control, launching into “Rock Me To The Top” from their debut album. Their energy was contagious; fans remained on their feet throughout the nearly two-hour performance, completely captivated. Tesla’s guitarist, Frank Hannon, was a force to be reckoned with, his dynamic presence and guitar skills lighting up the stage. The band also teased new material from their upcoming album, hinting at a Thanksgiving release.

The set was a balanced mixture of new tracks and beloved classics, keeping the audience guessing and thoroughly entertained. Four successive hits towards the end, including “Changes” and “Paradise,” had fans in a frenzy, demonstrating Tesla’s enduring appeal.

In a memorable finale, after a curfew cut Bach’s set short, Tesla invited him back on stage to perform his final song, “Youth Gone Wild,” along with Tesla’s own “Signs.” This gesture illustrated the band’s solidarity with the supporting act and their collective commitment to giving the fans a night to remember.

For anyone who’s been part of Tesla’s journey or has followed the evolution of rock through the decades, this event was a vivid reminder of their iconic status in the rock music scene. It’s clear that both Tesla and Sebastian Bach have not only retained their original fan base but continue to captivate and engage new listeners, proving that real rock never fades.
