Get ready to groove with New Orleans’ own Tank and the Bangas as they hit the road for their exciting 2024-25 tour! Immerse yourself in their dynamic blend of R&B, jazz, and spoken word with highlights including a four-night stint at the iconic Blue Note Jazz Club in New York City from November 7-10, and two exclusive nights at The Capitol Theatre in Port Chester.

After their win at the NPR Music Tiny Desk Contest in 2017, Tank and the Bangas have emerged as one of America’s most thrilling live acts. The ensemble, led by Tarriona “Tank” Ball, features a talented lineup including Norman Spencer II on multiple instruments, drummer CJ Knowles Jr, bassist Matthew MSkillz, Rob Kellner on keys, and Etienne Stoufflet on saxophone. Celebrating their rich musical journey, their third studio album “Red Balloon” was recently nominated for “Best Progressive R&B Album” at the 2023 Grammy Awards.

Not only are they touring solo across the country, but they will also be joining forces with Trombone Shorty for a spectacular twelve-show tour starting March 6 in Burlington, VT, and wrapping up on March 22 in Houston. This follows the physical release of the deluxe version of their three-part spoken word project “The Heart, The Mind, The Soul,” which features the captivating new track, “Is It Me You’re Calling”.

For a full experience of vibrant storytelling, deep grooves, and captivating performances, be sure not to miss Tank and the Bangas as they bring their electric energy to a city near you.
