Introducing Mimicking Mars, a dynamic four-piece that has been swiftly creating ripples across the indie-rock landscape. Formed in 2020, this Syracuse-based band seamlessly blends psychedelic twists with robust indie and alternative rock influences, crafting a sound that’s distinctly their own.

The journey of Mimicking Mars began in Monroe, NY, gaining significant attention in 2021. With a lineup comprising Jeremy Lanuti, James Dawson, Josh LeVisuer, and Bobby Malone, the group initially united over a shared passion for music, which soon blossomed into a serious artistic endeavor, capturing hearts along the way.

With their electrifying performances, Mimicking Mars has established a reputation for their exuberant live shows, where their music vibrantly comes to life. To date, they have released seven singles and continue to engage audiences with their spirited on-stage presence. Their commitment to creating a genuine and impactful musical experience is palpable, both in their live shows and recordings.

In a significant milestone, the band recently launched their debut studio album, ‘Janky Jones & the Blackjack Blues,’ now available across all major streaming platforms. This album is a testament to their dedication and the positive energy they’re known to evoke. The tunes are infused with the same infectious vibes they bring to their live performances.

For the remainder of the year, Mimicking Mars has scheduled performances that promise to be as thrilling as their music. They are set to light up stages in various locations, ensuring their sound reaches every corner.

As Mimicking Mars continues to conquer new horizons in their musical journey, they are certainly a band to watch and experience live for their unique blend of sounds and the authentic resonance they bring to the indie rock scene.
