Tyreek Hill started his day in handcuffs but ended it in the end zone. Josh Allen showcased why he’s always in the MVP discussion. Meanwhile, the Steelers and Bears showed defense still wins games, notching victories without offensive touchdowns.

Dak Prescott, now the NFL’s highest-paid player, celebrated his massive $240 million deal by leading the Cowboys to a decisive victory over the Browns.

Opening weekend was historic with three teams overcoming 14-point deficits. The Bears, Bills, and Dolphins all rallied back to win their games, nearly joined by the Rams who fell to the Lions in overtime.

Jim Harbaugh’s return to the NFL sidelines with the Chargers was victorious, reminding everyone why his ground-and-pound strategy works, securing a 22-10 win over the Raiders.

The Falcons, despite hyped offseason changes, disappointed against the Steelers, scoring only one offensive touchdown in an 18-10 defeat. Justin Fields stepped in for an injured Russell Wilson and helped Chicago to victory without throwing a pick.

In Indianapolis, Anthony Richardson dazzled with a 65-yard touchdown bomb but it was Texans’ newcomers Stefon Diggs and Joe Mixon who led Houston to a 29-27 win over the Colts, extending their opening week losing streak to 11 seasons.

The Bills, led by Allen’s four touchdowns, overcame a 17-3 deficit to beat the Cardinals 34-28. Carolina had a rough start, suffering a 47-10 loss to the Saints, leaving coach Dave Canales with much work to do.

In New York, the Giants’ loss to the Vikings intensified speculation about Daniel Jones’ future, while Sam Darnold shined. Baker Mayfield’s four touchdowns led the Buccaneers to a 37-20 win over the Commanders.

Mike Macdonald’s debut with the Seahawks saw his defense dominate the Broncos, leading to a 26-20 victory.

Dak Prescott’s new mega-contract seemed to spark the Cowboys’ defense in their convincing win over the Browns.

Caleb Williams’ Bears debut may have been rocky, but their defense stepped up for an old-school win against the Titans. The Lions showcased their resilience, defeating the Rams in overtime thanks to David Montgomery’s key runs.

Caught in the drama, Tyreek Hill helped Miami rally from behind to defeat Jacksonville. Hill, who started his day detained, capped it with 130 receiving yards and a pivotal 80-yard touchdown.

Surprisingly, the Bengals stumbled out of the gate, losing 16-10 to the Patriots. Despite expectations, Cincinnati’s offense faltered badly, now facing a tough matchup against the Chiefs next week.
