This AI challenge requires a thick skin.

A new challenge is going viral on the social media platform in which people ask ChatGPT to “roast your feed in one paragraph” — and the results are brutal.

People have taken to X, formerly Twitter, to share the roasts of their feeds, and the AI robot didn’t hold back.

ChatGPT told one user, “I’m guessing you spend more time flexing in front of mirrors than actually exploring the city” and called them a “beefcake sensation.”

“Your feed is like a bad breakup between Tumblr and Instagram — except they both lost the fight,” ChatGPT told another person. “Maybe try turning on a light and smiling once in a while.”

“It’s like you went on a grand tour of Europe just to prove you own more jackets than most people own shoes,” another roast said.

Some other roasts tell the user that they are “trying too hard to be spontaneous” or that they have “generic dude-at-a-party vibes.” Others were told their profiles seemed “like a midlife crisis” or like “the LinkedIn of Instagram profiles.”

The Australian Ballet took part in the trend as well, and ChatGPT told them that their account looks like “a never-ending audition for ‘Swan Lake.’”

The robot is apparently fluent at hyper-specific insults tailored to your Instagram.

Instagrammers have been sharing their results through the “Add Yours” template, which allows people to quickly add their own roast and see others who added to the template as well.

As of Wednesday morning, 397,000 people have added to the template.

How to take part in the ChatGPT Instagram feed roast trend:

  1. Download and open the ChatGPT app.
  2. Go to the Insta Guru section.
  3. Attach screenshots of your Instagram feed. Try to include both photos in your feed and also your bio.
  4. Tell ChatGPT “roast my feed in one paragraph.”
  5. ChatGPT will then give a response, and you can tell it to “be meaner” if you want a harsher roast.
