Jason Kelce could get his own late-night show at ESPN

Jason Kelce, the renowned former Eagles center and podcast co-host, is in talks with ESPN to potentially become the next big name in late-night TV. If plans materialize, Kelce would host a show that moves beyond traditional sports highlights, bringing athletes and celebrities into the limelight with an engaging late-night format. Produced by NFL Films and aired by ESPN, the show is slated for a five-week Friday night run in January, aiming to generate viral social media buzz over the weekends.

Since retiring from a storied NFL career in March, which includes a Super Bowl victory with the Eagles and appearances in six All-Pro selections and seven Pro Bowls, Kelce has joined ESPN’s “Monday Night Countdown” as an analyst. His presence graced the football booth alongside Joe Buck and Troy Aikman for a memorable appearance in Philadelphia.

Kelce, alongside his brother Travis—with whom he co-hosts the popular “New Heights” podcast—has recently signed a monumental three-year, $100 million deal with Amazon’s Wondery network. The Kelce family’s prominence surged last fall when Travis, a star tight end for the Chiefs, publicly revealed his relationship with pop sensation Taylor Swift.

Should Kelce’s potential show succeed, it could extend its run on ESPN, further solidifying his impressive post-football career.
