Israel says it expects to be imminently and simultaneously attacked by “Iran’s axis of evil” — Hezbollah terrorists in Lebanon, the Houthis in Yemen and Iranian military forces.

Iran allegedly told Arab leaders Saturday that it doesn’t care if the attacks cause a wider-spread war.

And Israeli leaders Sunday all but assured that would happen if Iran and its terror proxies launch their expected multifront assaults.

“We are striking every one of its arms with great force,” Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu vowed during a cabinet meeting Sunday, referring to the Mideast “axis of evil,” according to Bloomberg News.

“We are prepared for any scenario – both offensively and defensively,” Netanyahu said. “I repeat to our enemies: We will respond and exact a heavy price for any act of aggression against us from any arena.”

Iran’s supreme leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, called for a direct strike on Israel after last week’s assassinations of Hamas leader Ismail Haniyeh, a leader of the Palestinian terror group Hamas, and Hezbollah commander Fuad Shukr.

The two terror leaders were killed in retaliatory attacks after a rocket assault on a soccer field in the Israel-controlled Golan Heights killed a dozen children last month.

The US and other Western allies have tried in vain to broker a deal to avoid all-out war in the region. The White House has vowed to stand with Israel in any coming conflict.

The Pentagon just ordered more warships and F-22 stealth fighters to the region. The deployment includes a squadron of elite jets and US Navy cruisers and destroyers.

Iran’s leadership shot down attempts to de-escalate the conflict, the Wall Street Journal said.

On Sunday, Jordan’s foreign minister was in Tehran for another desperate attempt to diffuse tensions.

Jordan was caught in the crossfire in April when it intercepted Iranian missiles during a barrage targeting Israel — with some of the projectiles entering Jordanian airspace.

“Anyone who wants to violate our skies, we will face that,” Jordanian Foreign Minister Ayman Safadi said, according to the Journal report. “Jordan will not be a battlefield. We are exposed to many consequences.”

Tensions in the region have been at a fever pitch since Hamas terrorists launched a sneak attack on Israel on Oct. 7 and Israeli continues to retaliate with a massive military strike in the Gaza Strip.
