A callous stranger randomly shoved a 76-year-old woman to the ground in a broad-daylight attack as she walked in Queens earlier this month, cops said.

The brute approached the victim as she crossed at the intersection of 63rd Street and Queens Boulevard in Sunnyside just after 2 p.m. Aug. 6, authorities said.

Then he pushed her onto the concrete without warning – leaving her with injuries to her lower back and right hip, police said.

The victim was taken to Mount Sinai Hospital, where she was listed in stable condition, police said.

The attacker — shown in surveillance footage released by the NYPD late Monday — is described as a man with a heavy build and light complexion.

He was last seen wearing a black baseball hat, a light pink T-shirt and khaki shorts, and carrying a white plastic bag.

The assailant said nothing to the victim before knocking her down, cops said. DCPI

In an unrelated but similarly unprovoked attack last week, a creep attacked a teen with a book in the Flatiron District, cops said.

The 18-year-old woman was walking on West 25th Street near Broadway around 9:30 p.m. Aug. 19 when the stranger bashed her in the face with a book, authorities said.

The sudden blow left the victim with pain, bruising and swelling on her nose, cops said. She was not hospitalized.

The assailant ran off, heading east on West 25th Street.

Footage also released Monday night shows the shirtless suspect walking down the street with a white T-shirt slung over his shoulder, a book sticking out of his gray shorts, and white sneakers.

He was still on the loose Tuesday.

Year-to-date, both felony and misdemeanor assaults are up across the Big Apple so far this year, according to the latest NYPD statistics.

A total of 19,229 felony assaults have been reported at this point in 2024, compared to 18,316 during the same period in 2023, according to the data, which covers the period from Jan. 1 through Sunday.

As of Sunday, 30,990 misdemeanor assaults were reported, compared to 28,374 during the same period last year.

Anyone with information on either attack is asked to call the NYPD’s Crime Stoppers Hotline at 1-800-577-TIPS (8477) or for Spanish, 1-888-57-PISTA (74782).
